About the C4S App

The C4S App is a tool that allows users to make soil property value predictions using their own locally collected soil spectra using a wide range of soil spectral instruments. It leverages the CSIRO National Soil Spectral Library to allow users to make the best possible soil property predictions from their local spectra.

Users upload their soil spectra files using the intuitive C4S Web App and they can then make soil property value predictions from these spectra. The C4S App is designed to be user-friendly and accessible, allowing users to easily navigate through the process of uploading spectra, selecting the appropriate models, and obtaining predictions.

The C4S App is built on the principles of open science and aims to provide a platform for researchers, agronomists, and land managers to access and utilize soil spectral data effectively. It is part of the broader C4S initiative, which focuses on enhancing soil health and productivity through advanced spectral analysis techniques.

The App is currently a prototype and is being actively developed. Users are encouraged to provide feedback and suggestions for improvements to help shape the future of the C4S App.
